Delete My Data

Effective date: July 11, 2026

A2M Technologies, LLC honors deletion requests for the AniMemories service as described below. Deletion rights described in our Privacy Policy — including rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act — can be exercised through either method on this page.

1. Self-Service Deletion (Fastest)

Sign in and open Account → Settings → "Delete my account and all data." This permanently deletes your profile, every uploaded photograph, every Generated Video, and your generation history. The action takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. You may also delete any individual memory at any time from its page, with the same immediate effect for that item.

2. Deletion by Email

If you cannot access your account, email info@animemories.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address associated with the account. To protect your data from fraudulent requests, we verify ownership — normally by confirming control of the account email; if that is not possible, we may request additional reasonable verification. Once verified, we will complete the deletion and send you written confirmation.

3. What Is Deleted, and When

Uploaded photographs and Generated Videos — removed from production storage immediately upon deletion and purged from encrypted backups within the backup-rotation window, not exceeding thirty (30) days.
Account profile and settings — deleted immediately.
Generation history and share links — deleted immediately; previously issued share links stop working.

4. What We Must Retain

We retain limited records where the law requires or permits it: transaction and invoicing records (tax and accounting law), records of deletion requests themselves (to demonstrate compliance), and information reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims or enforce our agreements. Retained records are kept only as long as the applicable obligation requires and are not used for any other purpose.

5. Timing and Confirmation

Self-service deletions take effect immediately. Emailed requests are acknowledged within a reasonable period and completed within the timeframes required by applicable law (for example, one month under the GDPR, extendable where the law permits; forty-five (45) days under the CCPA, extendable once). We will confirm completion in writing for emailed requests.
